Research interest

1. Nonlinear Dynamics;

2. Equilibrium and Non-equilibrium Statistical Physics, with applications to heat conduction in low-dimensional microscopic systems;

3. Theoretical studies and simulations of complex systems, including economic and transportation systems.


I have publised more than 40 papers in international academic journals, including 8 papers in Physical Review Letters. In collaboration with Professor Baowen Li from the Department of Physics at the National University of Singapore, significant progress was made in the research on "thermal logic gates based on phonon computation," which was listed by the American Physical Society (APS) in Physics News in 2007. This work provided a theoretical foundation for the development and realization of "phonon computers," becoming a new growth point in the frontier research of thermal flow control.
